AplTec TM Composite Patch launches the Mini 6.50 Pack  specially designed for the Mini transat Racers.

Based on our 2012 Volvo Ocean Race and Vendée globe 2013 experience, the world´s lightest boat repair kit you can carry on-board a mini 6.50´: 40% lighter than carrying resin+fibre+ brushes +acetone +mixing pots and a guaranteed quality of the repair.

How does it works?

AplTec TM Composite patch has the right amount of resin/hardener ratio pre-dosed to wet the fibre patch included in the plastic pouch. They are separated by an easy to remove clips. The resin is yellow, the hardener is blue: as long as the mix is not green, it means the mix is not ready.

Once the resin mixed, remove the second clip and spread onto the fibre, then simply cut open the plastic and apply the repair patch like a bandage - as simple as that – repairs can be performed in less than 5 minutes and will harden faster than any other epoxy resin - in any conditions , including underwater or on wet surfaces as proven during the last Volvo Ocean Race or Vendée Globe.
