In the last few days we have seen the crews of the Volvo Ocean Race and the Barcelona World Race dealing with some serious problems with their boats.

Renault Captur is turning back to New Zealand for a technical pit stop due to a broken rudder, probably hit by an unidentified floating object, that made the boat uncontrollable at higher speeds.

In the Volvo Ocean Race, some teams are in trouble too: DongFeng is having a hard time with a broken mast track that keeps them stuck in the last position and Team Mapfre had to perform some onboard repairs in order to fix a damaged outrigger.
