Nick Bice, Director of Boats and Maintenance, Volvo Ocean Race was a speaker at the METS CONFERENCES 2015 in Amsterdam
Mr Bice talked about the unique collaboration model in the industry and how suppliers are becoming partners to showcase the best they can offer: how a race became a platform of collaboration, efficiency and reliability.
Nick Bice dedicated to Composite Patch these words:
“So if anyone has some really good ideas, and wants to be involved in the race, we definitely got open ears”
Composite Patch was proposed “as on board composite repair system” by the boatyard to the teams, and was used by all the teams during the race with overall great satisfaction.
